Cua rang muối là món ăn ngon dễ làm, có vị cay thơm, mằn mặn hấp dẫn, làm món nhậu bia rượu đều tuyệt. Cách làm cua rang muối đơn giản với những con cua nhỏ, có lớp vỏ mềm, được tẩm bột, chiên chín giòn rụm. Sau đó đem cua rang cùng hành tây, hành lá, tỏi, ớt và muối.
Bóc vỏ hành tây, rửa sạch thái sợi to. Băm nhỏ tỏi, thái khúc hành lá, thái lát ớt. Gia vị làm cua rang muối: muối tiêu, đường, bột tỏi cho vào chén nhỏ trộn đều để sang 1 bên.
Bỏ yếm cua, rửa cua sạch sẽ, tách mai cua rồi lấy phổi cua ra, rửa lại cho sạch rồi thấm khô nước. Sau đó chặt cua làm 2 phần, cho vào tô và thêm 1/2 muỗng cà phê nêm, rượu trắng, rắc chút bột năng áo đều lên cua, xóc đều. Đun nóng nhiều dầu ăn, gắp từng miếng cua vào chiên khoảng 2-3 phút cua vừa chín tới thì gắp cua ra đĩa.
Đun nóng 1 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho tỏi băm vào phi thơm. Sau đó cho hành tây vào xào sơ qua sau đó cho tất cả cua đã chiên vào chảo, đảo đều rồi thêm ớt, hành lá rồi rắc chén gia vị làm cua rang muối đã trộn sẵn vừa nãy vào. Xóc đều cho cua rang muối ngấm đều gia vị là tắt bếp.
